SWXCR Disks not visible

Tru64 Unix V5.1 with PK6 with disks distributed across Hardware RAID Controllers SWXCR and HSZ22.

All the disks are available normally.

Except that hwmgr -show scsi doesn't show some disks ( disks presented by SWXCR ) whereas the same can be seen by hwmgr -view devices.

Disks in question are dsk0,1 and 4.

Please see attachment.

Any hints

Thanks in advance.

Re: SWXCR Disks not visible

Hi,

I have got this behaviour too.
I don't know why but you can't see them with
hwmgr -show scsi
You may use
hwmgr -show comp
or
hrmgr -view hierarchy

Re: SWXCR Disks not visible

It is normal.

SWXCR device have never been viewed as SCSI devices by Tru64 UNIX.

If your experience with Tru64 goes back far enough your may recall that hard disks were desinated by rzxx and SWXCR storage units by rexx under the 4.x product.
