Scsi adapter in ds20e
Hi,
I have got a DS20E server with SymBios adapter 895 scsi adapter, and the internal connector has been connected to the internal hard disks(bay).I just wanted to connect the external scsi to one more BA356 pedatal .But the device is detecting properly from the SRM console but it is giving some error "SCSI0:HTH Intr.on bus 0,SBCL=0x20 SCSI bus was reset" while system booting
Is it possible to connect the devices to the both internal and external scsi connectors at a time.Anticipating a reply soon..
Thanks
KH

Re: Scsi adapter in ds20e
if the Symbios 895 is on the supporter option list it should work (check it). But scsi bus reset indicates a cable/termination problem be sure you have set correct termination (SRM is not an indication) and cable length.
