Sendmail Configuration

Hello all,

I tried to change the sendmail relay to another server.
I used MAILSETUP shown in some other forum question.
But i can get sendmail to work properly.
To tell the truth the sendmail wasn´t work before.
My questions is , what are the steps required in order to make sendmail to work properly.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Brun

Re: Sendmail Configuration

Check if the fully qualified hostname of the host is the first to appear in /etc/hosts
If not in /etc/host add the domainname to the local host. :
x.x.x.x myhost.mydomain.com myhost loghost

In sendmail.cf
comment DSmailhost.$m
add DMmydomain.com

All different, all Unix

Hey Nicolas.

What should i put in these options:
