System Disk Mirroring in TRU64UNIX 5.1

how can we create mirror copy of the system disk on another disk.we have AS40 running tru64unix v5.1.we have system disk on the local storage and want to create the mirror copy on the second disk so that if the system disk fails we may be able to continue operation by using the 2nd disk till we replace the faulty disk.
do let me know the exact commands and software required for mirror disk procedure.

You have 3 possiblities:

1. using LSM (man volrootmir), drive is always up-to-date and damage doesn't interrupt your business.

2. using dd to copy the drive 1:1, switching the SCSI ID to drive 1 if drive 1 fails

3. using btcreate to create a bootable tape
in case of a problem boot tape and automatically restore system.
