TOP utility

Hi can anyone help me. I read that there is a top utility that allows me to see the top processes running on Tru64 or Digital UNIX V4.0F. Can anyone help direct me to where I can download this utility.

Thanks

Re: TOP utility

Hi,

I am told you can download the sourcecode for the top command at ftp.groupsys.com.

Apart from top you can also use the command 'ps auxw' to sort the processlist.

Contrary to popular belief, Unix is userfriendly. It just happens to be selective about who it makes friends with.

Re: TOP utility

use the search function next time, over 10 hits for the download location:

e.g.

Help() { FirstReadManual(urgently); Go_to_it;; }

Re: TOP utility

If you have the Open Source Software Collection for version 4.0F, you may also find it there. The top utility was included on the CD I have for 5.1.
