TRU64 5.1A: video card ZLXp2-E Configuration
i've got a little problem to configure a video card ZLXp2-E under TRU64 5.1A
I'd like to use 1024*768 but the driver take the card in video mode 640*480.
at the boot, in the /var/adm/messages
vmunix: tga0: depth 8, map size 2MB, 640*480
vmunix: tga0: ZLXp2-E, Revision: 34
Anybody know where to configure this?

Re: TRU64 5.1A: video card ZLXp2-E Configuration
ZLXp-E1/E2/E3 PCI serie supports several resolutions and refresh rates configured by a switch on the graphics card
Please have a look at the graphic controller instalation guide for these values

Re: TRU64 5.1A: video card ZLXp2-E Configuration
For newer graphics cards you'd edit the /var/X11/Xserver.conf file to set the resolution, for example adding something like this:
args -pn -screen 1280x1024 -depth 16
(or -depth 24)
you'll have to stop/start xlogin after that to effect the changes.
HTH,
Ross

Re: TRU64 5.1A: video card ZLXp2-E Configuration
do not edit the /var/X11/XServer file, please read the header of the XServers file and do not post wrong informations. If you read the CDE documentation you will also get a pointer how it should be modified!

Re: TRU64 5.1A: video card ZLXp2-E Configuration
I solved my problem with rotate switch on the card.
