Hi,
I have a Tru64UNIX v5.1B system. From time to time when I try and login as root using Telnet I get the message:-
Terminal is disabled -- See Account Administrator
I then login as root using ssh.
I can then login as root again using telnet.
Any suggestions on what could cause this would be appreciated.
Thanks
Andrew

Solution
Probably you have C2 security enabled, and the threshold for failed logins on that individual pseudo-tty is being/has been exceeded.
You might try setting the threshold to a higher value.
