Re: Timezone

Hello,

Have a look to /etc/zoneinfo/localtime link!

# sizer -v
Digital UNIX V4.0G (Rev. 1530); Fri Feb 21 18:00:43 MET 2003

root@myhost:/etc/zoneinfo# date
Mon Oct 27 10:16:27 MET 2003

root@myhost:/etc/zoneinfo# date -u
Mon Oct 27 09:16:29 UTC 2003

#cd /etc/zoneinfo
#ls -ltr | grep localtime
root@myhost:/etc/zoneinfo# ls -ltr | grep localtime
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root system 5 Aug 13 2002 localtime@ -> ./MET

Now you can easily change the localtime link to what you want.

If your need more infos have a look to sources directory.
root@myhost:/etc/zoneinfo# ls
./ Egypt GMT+3 GMT-12 GMT10 GMT9 Mexico/ UCT
../ Factory GMT+4 GMT-2 GMT11 Greenwich NZ US/
Australia/ GB-Eire GMT+5 GMT-3 GMT12 Hongkong NZ-CHAT UTC
Belfast GMT GMT+6 GMT-4 GMT13 Iceland Navajo Universal
Brazil/ GMT+0 GMT+7 GMT-5 GMT2 Iran PRC W-SU
CET GMT+1 GMT+8 GMT-6 GMT3 Israel Poland WET
Canada/ GMT+10 GMT+9 GMT-7 GMT4 Jamaica ROC Zulu
Chile/ GMT+11 GMT-0 GMT-8 GMT5 Japan ROK localtime@
Cuba GMT+12 GMT-1 GMT-9 GMT6 Libya Singapore sources/
Dublin GMT+13 GMT-10 GMT0 GMT7 London SystemV/
EET GMT+2 GMT-11 GMT1 GMT8 MET Turkey

I.e.
# cd sources
root@myhost:/etc/zoneinfo/sources# ls
./ africa australasia europe northamerica systemv
../ asia etcetera factory southamerica
root@myhost:/etc/zoneinfo/sources#

root@myhost:/etc/zoneinfo/sources# file *
africa: ascii text
asia: ascii text
australasia: ascii text
etcetera: ascii text
europe: ascii text
factory: ascii text
northamerica: ascii text
southamerica: ascii text
systemv: ascii text

Hope it helps,
Best regards,
