Simpler Navigation for Servers and Operating Systems - Please Update Your Bookmarks
Completed: a much simpler Servers and Operating Systems section of the Community. We combined many of the older boards, so you won't have to click through so many levels to get at the information you need. Check the consolidated boards here as many sub-forums are now single boards.

Re: Tru64 Ignite

Hi Ian

I think the nearest thing is btcreate. This allegedly makes a bootable tape. Sorry, I don't have any more info but the man page should help.

Cheers

Re: Tru64 Ignite

I have been told that long term, a form of HP-UX will be running on the True64 platform. That will give you Ignite.

Everyone I've talked to at HP says they like the filesystem, but the OS isn't going to be enhanced.
