Tru64 Unix V5.0A Patch Kit Information

Dear All
I am facing some issue with the DDS3 internal tape drive of DS20 loaded with Tru64 OS v5.0A, now for trouble shooting information required to check the patch kit installed on the system and tar and vdump patch kit status.

Please let me know the commands to check out the versions of patch tar and vdump installed and command to know the patch kit status with tru64 V5.0A.

To check patch kits installed:
# dupatch -track -type kit
To check OS version:
# sizer -v

leads to suggestions like:
dupatch -track -type kit

Other options should say more or less.

T64V50AAS0001-20000718 OSF505
Whats the patch kit, is it patch kit 4, how to check the tar patch available. vdump patch status in my system.

T64V50AAS0001 means it is patch kit 1 (not 4)
To see vdump version:
# vdump -V

5.0A is really old. You should try to upgrade to latest levels in 5.1B.
