True64 installation
I have a ES 40 Alpha server. i am trying to install an True64 unix but can't pass this line
"Jumping to bootstrap code".
when i boot with the installation CD i can't pass tht line. My console setting is on serial. i have tried other CD ROM but to no avail. My media is in good helath.

Tru64 version? Does it support an ES40, or
do you need an NHD kit?

i am using True64 5.1 B.
My console setting is both on serial from the monitor and the hyper terminal.Is it possible to change com2 to be the main console. i need a way out.

That doesn't make sense...
What does the output of
P00>>> show console
give you ?
Tru64 5.1B is supported on an ES40 without any need for NHD CDs etc.
