WEBES 4.3.3 in Tru-64 Unix
Hello All,
Can anybody help me in finding out the following,
1.What all events the WEBES-4.3.3 can pick up
2.Where these logs are located
3.How much CPU and memory it will consume.
Thanks In advance
Raneesh Vijayan

Re: WEBES 4.3.3 in Tru-64 Unix
Hi Raneesh,
try the user guide at:http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/svctools/webes/sea_ug.pdf
also if you use: http://hostname:7902 in a browser you will be able to configure where the logs are stored and see where the ones already in existence are stored.
I have never had a problem with it eating too much RAM, the only instance where I have had a problem is when DESTA gets itself in a mess and it puts itself into aggressive seeking of the log files. To resolve I just had to do desta stop and start. otherwise no problems. Hope this helps
regards
Matt
