World Wide Language Suport for TRU64 UNIX 5.1B

Hi all,

Where can I find the Tru64 UNIX worldwide language support for TRU64 5.1B. I am installing Oracle 10g and I get ERROR: Unable to convert from "UTF-8" to "ISO8859-1" for NLS!
├┐├┐├┐├┐├┐: Permission denied. Went to Oracle and they of course said that the WWL had to be installed. I did a setld -i | grep IOSWW as Oracle recommended and nothing reported back.

Thanks,
Anthony

Hi Anthony,

It's on one of the Associated Products CDs. CD 1 if I remember correctly.

Cheers,

Rob,

I thought I could find a download somewhere. I will dig the AP cd...

Hi,

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's available for download. At least I couldn't find it when I was in the same position a few years ago...

Cheers,

Re: World Wide Language Suport for TRU64 UNIX 5.1B

Rob,

I had the AP cd and installed that way. Now I am looking at a Xlib: connection to "10.1.19.25:0.0" refused. I will search the db and see if I can find this.

Thanks for your help!

What were you doing when you got the error?

Who is "10.1.19.25"?

echo $DISPLAY
(And who set it to that?)

xhost

man xhost

For the benefit of us non-psychics, you might
consider explaining what you're doing. What
are you touching and looking at? A keyboard
and display connected to your Tru64
workstation? Some kind of X terminal (or
emulator)?

Re: World Wide Language Suport for TRU64 UNIX 5.1B

Steven,

I resolved this. I added an entry to /etc/hosts and then a firewall was involved.
Once all this was done the export DISPLAY worked like a charm...

Thanks,
Anthony
