all users can logout from CDE except root

hi all,
im stuck with this CDE issue. now all other users can quit or logout CDE but root cannot. Some one has changed settings and havent recorded them. please suggest some solution.

Can you please post the error message while you are trying to logout.

1.DT Messaging system could not be started.
2. Exit Session Error
A Tool Talk connection could not be established.

Can you please post the information from the following files

$HOME/.dt/errorlog
/var/adm/messages

Can you please stop the rpc.ttdbserver and refresh the inetd.

kill -STOP kill -HUP
