What is the error you get? Did you check the man page of 'rsh' on the pre-requisites?

Re: can't rsh linux machine from Tru64 machine

If the Linux system rejects a remote user
(rsh or Telnet), then you probably need to
adjust the Linux system, and not the Tru64
system.

And, yes, an actual error/failure message
might be helpful. "Unable" doesn't say much.

Re: can't rsh linux machine from Tru64 machine

Hi all soory for so late reply
actually machine is working fine after reboot.
the error it is showing after telnet is

"Cannot resolve network address for KDC in requested realm while getting initial credentials"
it is basically for Kerboros but i've checked all files related to kerberos. Its configuration is fine
Thanks
