checkin problem with (HBA) LP10000 and tru64 5.1b

Hi,

I have tru64 5.1b OS on APPHA ES40 up and runing. But I am not seeing any HBA (KGPSA or LP10000) entry in /var/adm/messages file. Due to this hwmgr -show scsi is not showing any storage device which i have presented to this host.

NOTE : i can see these storage device on P00>> console prompt.I have 4 (LP10000)HBA's

Any idea how to make this HBA checkin by OS.

Try booting genvmunix and compile the kernel:
>>> boot -fl i

#genvmunix

bcheckrc
lmf reset

doconfig

copy the new kernel to /

What is your console firmware rev? That's a very late model HBA and you probably need the latest and greated console firmware.
