How to do sort on memory for the commands like ps , top?

Are you asking how to do it in the commands? Or to pipe the output to sort?

Would like to know how to do it using commands like ps.
If is possible via TOP too then welcome.

I see no Tru64 top man page? ps(1) doesn't have an option for sorting.

So you'll have to pipe the output to sort. Using -kN,N, where N is the column number.
