Re: mount disks from cluster to another machine

The only "safe" way to mount a disk that is used by another server or cluster, is to create a hardware snapshot if the disk, and present the snapshot/snapclone to the new server.

You should not access the cluster disk if the server is not part of the cluster.

Also, to mount a cluster disk in a non cluster host, you must delete the key in the disk with scu or use the cleanPR command.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

I will not recommend you to use the cluster disk if that server is not the part of the cluster.

even after running cleanPR sometimes it gives the error at the access time.

although cleanPR clears all persistent reservations from the attached HSG80 and HSZ80 devices but still causes problem in few cases.
