mountroot:Please correct the problem and continue or reboot

Hi Experts,

one of my trucluster nide gives the error mentioned in the subject line. Then it goes into single user mode.

What could be the problem.

Regards,
Syam

Re: mountroot:Please correct the problem and continue or reboot

syam,

You have this message because the member was not able to make the boot-partition writable.

A possible reason might be, that the boot-partition of this member is already mounted via another cluster-member. Probably, for maintencance purposes.

Hope this helps

Re: mountroot:Please correct the problem and continue or reboot

Hi,

Many thanks for your response. Actually the problem was due to the corruption of fdmns disk device database corruption.

Could create a new domain for the disk devices, recreated the device links to the disk devices and mount the same properly. The system is booting perfectly now.

Thanks again.
Regards,
Syam
