Re: new hardware delivery kit
http://h30097.www3.hp.com/docs/
to
http://h30097.www3.hp.com/docs/nhd/
seems to be a loser, too.
Perhaps they've decided that there really is
no new hardware now.
You might try feedback to the Webmaster.

Dear Tru64 UNIX Customer:

product. This is a release of new hardware for Tru64 UNIX and is only
supported on Version 4.0F.

The purpose of the Tru64 UNIX New Hardware Delivery CD-ROM is to enable
delivery of support for new hardware without having to provide a new

thereby causing minimal incremental change to your operating system
environment.

Re: new hardware delivery kit
I would have thought that you should be OK just installing the latest patch kit...
I've just done a fresh install of 4.0F and that did include the emx stuff...
# sizer -v
Digital UNIX V4.0F (Rev. 1229); Wed Apr 2 03:29:14 BST 2008
# dupatch -track -type kit
* Previous session logs saved in session.log.[1-25]
- This dupatch session is logged in /var/adm/patch/log/session.log
Gathering details of relevant patches, this may take a bit of time
Patches installed on the system came from following patch kits:
--------------------------------------------------------------
- DUV40FB22AS0008-20030730 OSF440
NOTE
When a patch kit is listed, it does not necessarily mean
all patches on that kit are installed on your system.
# man emx
emx(7) emx(7)
NAME
emx - Device Driver for the Emulex Fibre Channel Host Adapter
SYNOPSIS
bus emx0 at pci? controller scsiX at emx0
bus emx1 at pci? controller scsiY at emx1
.
...
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rob

Re: new hardware delivery kit
You must use command prompt to log on (it is hidden from browser).
Do
1. ftp csalf.cs.hr
2. login as anonymous
3. ftp> cd nhd
4. ftp> get nhd3.iso
Hope it would help.

Re: new hardware delivery kit
You'll also find it on HP's Australian FTP site, which fortunately doesn't appear to have been archived yet !
ftp://ftp.hp.com.au/pub/patches/unix/v4.0f/nhd3.tar.gz
There's also a emx_bin_v122.tar file on that site which might be of interest...
Cheers,
Rob
