sendmail config >no relay< for everyone
Salut
I have to config a Tru64 v5.1b server with sendmail 8.11.1.
How exactly can I avoid the "world" can use the server as a relay?
regards
Dominik

Re: sendmail config >no relay< for everyone
Salut,
I believe when you fire the #mailsetup
and chose the non-quick setup. there is question for something like " want to set it up as relay ? "
check this one out

Cheers !

Re: sendmail config >no relay< for everyone
If you want to protect your server not to be used for relaying have a look to www.sendmail.org. There are some features implemented well documented at the given link - look for "relaying" and "spam protection".
