unable to activate xlogin

Hi,

I have the following error message when try to activate the xlogin, how to resolve it ?

ffbTGA2InitProc: PCI bus not 0 or buffer not in direct windows, DMA disabled

Did you change anything on the system, eg did you add physical memory to an amount of 1GB or larger?
Did you install a patchkit (which one)?
What version of Open3D are you running ?

We had added a 2nd CPU, KN310-BA on 29-nov-2004. Since then I encountered this problem.

Rup,

ZLXp2-EV5 aka PowerStorm 3D30/4D20, aka PBXGB-AA/CA do not seem to be present in the supported graphics options table of the DS20E.

did you recup that card from an older AlphaStation (500?) ?

@Johan,

why using doc and not plain ascii or simple a link to it?

@rupert,

if it is not supported, get rid of it and use a supported option in your machine! And checked the config rules next time prior to plug the card into an alpha because you must also use the correct slot and firmware!
