what caused the KMF panic?
dear all,
an alpha ds20 wich tru64 unix 4.0f paniced, with the following messages in the message file.
trap: invalid memory ifetch access from kernel mode
faulting virtual address: 0x0000000000000000
pc of faulting instruction: 0x0000000000000000
ra contents at time of fault: 0xfffffc000057b85c
sp contents at time of fault: 0xffffffffac057870
panic (cpu 1): kernel memory fault
i wanna what was the major cause of the panic.

In the /var/adm/crash directory, you will have a file called crash-data.XX, post last file created to see if something else can be seen there.
What is the patch kit version you are using?
dupatch -track -type kit
