465G7 ESXi 4.1 all 4 NICs show disconnected on half my servers
Just built 6 ESXi 4.1 465G7 blades. Our build guy throws Windows on them for us to burn in, then we install ESXi. All blades had network connectivity with Windows 2008R2 installed. All ESXi installs went smoothly using the same iso from vmware. 3 blades came out perfect. 3 blades came out with all 4 NICs "Disconnected" under ESXi. These 3 blades will get an IP if we PXE boot and will have connectivity under Windows. See attached jpg
What's going on here? NIC firmware on these 3 perhaps?

Re: 465G7 ESXi 4.1 all 4 NICs show disconnected on half my servers
You must make sure you use the HP version of the ESXi ISO installation media when installing to G7 servers. The vmware version doesn't have the correct NIC drivers in the base image.

Re: 465G7 ESXi 4.1 all 4 NICs show disconnected on half my servers
All servers are identical. No connectivity even after assigning static IP address. The NICs show "disconnected". Physical Switches show the interfaces as up. I'll try the HP image.
