AMS_NOT_INSTALLED Error on all Gen9 Hosts from within Vcenter 7
Good morning all,
I am interested in starting to use vLCM (vcenter 7.0.3..00100) to upgrade my esxi hosts but I am unable to do this because of AMS issues on all my Gen9 blades/servers.
The error from host within vcenter when attempting to add ilo information under "HPE Hardware Support>HPE Ilo Configuration" is coming back with "Some error occurred during the task AMS_NOT_INSTALLED"
This is the same on all Gen 9 HPE hosts (DLxxx and BLxxx). The issue seems to affect all Gen9 Hosts regardless of exsi versions installed too
The versions installed that are causing issues are...
VMware-ESXi-7.0.2-17630552-HPE-702.0.0.10.6.3.24-Mar2021.iso or
VMware-ESXi-6.5.0-Update2-8294253-HPE-Gen9plus-650.U2.10.2.0.14-May2018.iso
VMware-ESXi-7.0.2-17867351-HPE-702.0.0.10.7.0.52-May2021.iso
I have tried the recomendations for updating the amsd running on the hosts in the following thread but this has not worked for me.
https://community.hpe.com/t5/Operating-System-VMware/AMS-NOT-INSTALLED-or-NOT-AVAILABLE-EVEN-THOUGH-AMSD-RUNNING-ON/m-p/7106403#.YfJYIOrP2Hs
This is old version which didnt work.
amsdComponent Agentless Management Component for Gen 10 700.11.6.10.4-1 700.11.6.10.4-1 Hewlett Packard Enterprise 12-04-2020 PartnerSupported
amshelprComponent Agentless Management Component Gen 9 700.11.6.10.2-1 700.11.6.10.2-1 Hewlett Packard En
This is new version which didnt work.
amsdComponent Agentless Management Service Daemon for Gen10 and Gen10Plus 701.11.8.0.15-1 701.11.8.0.15-1 HPE 09-11-2021 VMwareAccepted
amshelprComponent Agentless Management Service for Gen9 701.11.7.0.14-1 701.11.7.0.14-1 HPE 01-24-2021 VMwareAccepted
Any suggestions would be helpful becasue neither HPE Support or VMware Support seem to want to help me. unfortunately.
Thank you
