ESX4 don't like the esx4 DVD to mount
Hi,
I can't install vSphere4 on the dl370g6 with the internal DVD-Rom.
It boots, but after the vSphere settings, it wants to mount the dvd it says no cdrom access.
If i connect a external DVD on USB, everthing works fine!
Newest Firmwareupdate is already made.
How can I fix that?
Thanks

Re: ESX4 don't like the esx4 DVD to mount
hi,
did your DVD-ROM is a SCSI or a IDE/ SATA?
Is the device shown in the configuration - tab on your ESX Server, respectively if you take the CLI, is it shown with "esxcfg -d"?
