ESXi and check status P410

How do i check the status of the P410 controller in ESXi?

My server is a ML330

You can check the hardware status trough the vSphere client. It's listed under storage in the health status menu. If you don't see any storage information then you need to install the following software on the server.

It's not that hard.
Download and install the vmware cli from the vmware website. (cli = commande line utility)
Download the HP ESXi offline bundle.
Install the HP bundle using the vmware cli.
The command should be something like:

vihostupdate.pl --server servername --install --bundle "path to the hp zip file"

Will the HP ESXi Offline bundle provide any additional information via the Vmware vSphere client?
I'd be interested to hear if installing the bundle exposed any additional information about the host to the vmware client.
