Hi, on this server i installed VmWare ESXi 4.0 update 1, so:

1) can i update it to ESXi 4.0 update 2 and than to ESXi 4.1 without problems or it might be dangerous ?

2) how can i install virtual machines with 64 bit ?

hello,

ad 1) - you can go directly to ESXi 4.1 with update utility...
ad 2) - just choose 64bit OS during install and go... But ti has real matter mostly when giving more tha 4GB ram to each VM...

Hi, i upgraded my ESXi 4.0 to the new ESXi 4.1 following this video:

Than i could install virtual machine with 64 bit enabling the VT from the BIOS of real machine.
