How to forward vmkwarning log entries to SIM

I want the /var/log/vmkwarning log entries to be automatically forwarded as SNMP trap to Insight Manager. Is there a way to do this?

You'd need software to monitor the log and then formulate a trap. Then you'd need a MIB loaded into HP SIM to decode it.
There's nothing that I'm aware of that would catch that.

This is possible.

Please check the documentation - i remember a lab from the SDA course around these things.

Usually i do it the other way around - install mgmt agents and add the server to hp sim.
