SAS passthrough from host to guest

Hi!
I'm trying to make a backup solution on ESXi. I have one server with SAS tape drive and backup server is installed on guest machine in ESX on this server. Is there a possibility to "show" the tape drive of this server to guest?

The solution is vmdirectpath but i'm not absolutely sure that it will work in my configuration...
Anyway, problem solved, at least partially.
