We are seeing a lot of Alarm ' Host hardware sensor state on servername triggered by event 3710185 ' Sensor -1 type, Description Disk X on HPSA: Port Box Bay: XXX GB Unconfigured Disk: OK state desassert . I am only seeing this on one host in the cluster, but this error comes up for all drives. The server is running VSAN. ESXi 6.7 U3 Build 15160138.
P816i-a SR Gen10 is running 2.65 Firmware
I Powered off the server and reset the ilo, but the problem came back.
The other 4 hosts are running the same firmware, and esxi build and are not seeing these events in the hosts.
VMware has punted and said it is server issue and to clear the Ilo to ensure all the sensor matrix is refreshed? Would a reset of the ilo be the same thing?
Thanks
