9100 compaatability with windows 2000

9100 compaatability with windows 2000

I have a 9100i CD-RW. Already I know the software that comes with is not compatable with windows 2000. Also there is no update on the firmware for windows 2000.
Would I be wise to take it back to the store I got it from and buy something else that is windows 2000 compatable.

Leo,

It is very advisable to do that. Get something HD that you can upgrade the firmware and necessary system parameters easily. I have had similar problems but was lucky to download the drivers from HP software site. (www.software.hp.com)
