HP 40st

I have an HP 40st. I cannot find any documentation on the device anywhere on the net or here at work. I need to know what types of connetions it has (scsi/lvd)

Thanks
Brent

Re: HP 40st

Brent,
if you want to connect it to the host then there're 2 interfaces, which are selectable with little dip switch between them (active bus is the closest to the switch position):
- SE narrow (use Adaptec 2940 controller);
- FWD (use Adaptec 2944 controller).
Unfortunately there're no docs for 40st, but you can use docs for 160ex - this library is almost the same as 40st but has different drives (at least SCSI repeater/interface board is the same)

Re: HP 40st

Thanks for your Help. I looked through the documentation quickly. You wouldn't happen to know how many pins the connections are would you?

Re: HP 40st

SE - 50 pin HD
FWD - 68 pin HD (do not mix with LVD!!)
