HP 5200EX Optical - disk renumbering
We have used Optical disks for backup for awhile. We upgraded from HP1300T to HP 5200EX. Now we can't read the old Optical disks because the method of numbering disks re-started over again so we have 2 disks with same index numbers. (hopefully this means something to someone). I'm not clear if this is a function of the HP system or the archiving software. I lack experience in this area.
Can you renumber the current disks so we can access old opticals and new ones with unique IDs.
Thanks
Diane

Re: HP 5200EX Optical - disk renumbering
I would suggest you to contact your Archiving Software Support, it seems software related, in fact the hardware itself do not operate on the surfaces by itself
