HP 9200i firmware upgrade

Hi,

I have recently upgraded to Windows 2000 Pro and have just discovered that I should have updated the firmware on my HP9200i CD Writer prior to the windows upgrade.

I have the firmware, but apparently it only installs from a Win98 operating system. Is there a way of installing this, without going back to my original operating system?

Does it not install from dos?
