Problem - Trying to update my DVD drive to a newer driver version with the result that the driver exe asks me to install HPmy or HP Record untitles... from a cd...

Now my problem is that my entire system was based on some restore failure system, so I never had a cd with HP software on, it was pre-installed with the pc and was on a partition with some system recovering thing. Had my harddrive replaced a year ago, losing everything on it.

So how am I ever going to be able to update my current DVD Drive with newer drivers, when I dont have anywhere to get those pre-installed software programs from, that HP driver.exe demands.

*Note trying to find the proper place for this is a nightmare, so sorry if I posted it in the wrong section of the forum.

Nevermind, I should have read previously forum, sent a message to my Danish section of HP for that recovery disc.
