HP Surestore 5200 und Win2000
Wir haben in der Firma ca. 25 Surestore (ca. 400 Disks) auf Win2000 SP2 (Controller Adaptec) laufen - es wird das HP originalKabel verwendet und es ist sonst nichts am SCSI-Controller.
Das Problem ist, da?? in unregelm????igen Abst??nden (auch auf immer anderen Computern) die Seite A von der Disk gespiegelt auch auf der Seite B zu finden ist (die Daten von Seite B sind verschwunden). Ich kann die Daten nur mit Programmen wie NortonDiskDoktor wiederherstellen (Dateistruktur wurde ge??ndert!). Ist es m??glich, da?? dies durch Win2000 hervorgerufen wird? (inoffizielle Aussage von einem HP-Mitarbeiter)

PS: Firmware ist aktuell - Test haben wir auch schon alle gemacht

Bitte we need more infotmation:
- which disks are you using - capacity and vendor;
- HBA type, driver and bios versions;
- as I stated check cable lenght to be less than 3 meters;
- which backup/archival utility do you use? Shutdown all applications which can cause this problem. Boot into safe mode and try using windows explorer to copy files and look at results if data got corrupt.
Is this issue found with all MO disks? Attach LTT support ticket to your next reply.
