RecordNow bug - no "dot" files copied
What I want to know is whether anyone else has had the problem of trying to copy a directory tree to a CD/DVD and discovered that after the copy no files with a name beginning with "dot", i.e., like .cshrc, were copied? I bought my dvd300i in part for project backup, but after I ftp from my unix machine to the W2K which has my dvd300i, the copy of the directories to the dvd/cd do not include the "." files. (The dot files are definitely visible on the W2K.)
E-mail to HP customer support produced the suggestion that I rename the files. Anything else?
(This problem does not occur with the DLA copies.)
This makes the dvd useless to backup files from my unix machines.
Thanks
Mike
