HP Comware 5500 routing
Can anyone explain the differents between?
ip route-static xx.xx.xxx.xx 21 Vlan-interface51 zz.zz.zz.zzz
vs
ip route-static xx.xx.xxx.xx 21 zz.zz.zz.zzz

The command " ip route-static xx.xx.xxx.xx 21 Vlan-interface51 zz.zz.zz.zzz" is used when you configuring static FRR route ( Fast ReRoute) . FRR specifies a backup next hop by using a routing policy for routes matching the specified criteria. Packets are directed to the backup next hop to avoid traffic interruption.
Please refer page number 9 & 17 in for Configuring static route FRR.

And the command " ip route-static xx.xx.xxx.xx 21 zz.zz.zz.zzz" its a static route and mentioning the next hop IP.
