Tranciever not supported on PCS :(

Hello,

I have a problem.

I bought HP X132 10G SFP+ LC SR Tranciever (J9150A) and it dont work on HP 2530-48G Switch(J9775A).

Error log on swich interface: Trancievert type not % supported on this port.

My swich has 48 LAN ports and 4 optic. All 4 optic ports gets the same error on swich web interface.

On swich and tranciever support list they must support each other.

I'm a new user 4 networking..

may I made a mistake somethere?

You are trying to install an 10Gb SFP+ transceiver module into a 1Gb SFP trasnsceiver slot. That will never work.

in specification writing: 4 fixed Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports

it mean 4 port, for each other max 1 Gbs?
