What is PCM Maintenance Licence? getting message saying this is going to expire.

Hi There,

We purchased PCM 4 Plus, i think just over a year ago or so, and now i have started to get message when using PCM;

"The license for PCM Maintenance is going to expire on 18th May 2013, do you wish to add another licence"

I just need to know what this licence is actually for hence i can then decide whether i need this or not.

Basically that means that your out of technical support (1 year) and that PCM will not reveive any more auto updates.
