Where do swjob -a log output come from?

[ Edited ]

Hello,

Also asked on hp-ux newsgroup as I can't find the answer, and just in case hp-ux experts are there ;-)

I was wondering where do the information displayed by swjob -a log come from? Apparently not from any log file in /var/adm/sw nor /var/spool/sw or /homeroot/.sw as if I delete these files, swjob -a log still produces output. I would like to backup the information for inspection on a remote non-hp-ux system.

Out of curiosity, is it possible to reset the swjob counter?

Thanks,

Huh?  Mine looks like it comes from /var/adm/sw/swagent.log.

But it looks like you're right, (tusc is your friend) shows:

   /var/adm/sw/queue/logfiles/<jobid>/logfile

I'm not sure if it is safe to fiddle with: /var/adm/sw/queue/number

There are a bunch of directories with that <jobid>.
