HP-UX v.3

Hi, I know that in 4Q 2004 will be available the new version of HP-UX.
What I would like to know if it will permit to increase the number of the possible partitions, and naturally the max number, in the Superdome servers IA-64.

Re: HP-UX v.3

Thank you Dietmar,
I found the information I needed.
Do you know if the Vpar permit to add or remove memory and Hd, without stopping the partition ? I've seen that it is possible with the cpu, but I also need this specific on memory and I/O module

At HP World I was told HP-UX 11 v2 in October of 2004 and v3 in 1Q of 2006.

Re: HP-UX v.3

Massimiliano,

I'm afraid that is currently only possible with CPUs.
