K Series end of Life

Does anyone know the remaining life of a K series box? When will HP stop supporting them?
Thank You

Re: K Series end of Life

You can also call HP Business Customer Service. If you give them the specific model numbers (like AxxxxA, not "K-class") they will give you the most current information.
I just reviewed our K-class systems and the *minimum* was February, 2006.
It's important to note that this is the end of life for guaranteed support. HP will still write a service contract on a "best effort" basis and they still support many systems that are officially "not supported".

Re: K Series end of Life

I recently asked our HP support folks for various end-of-life dates:

K570 hp9000 server - 07/31/06
AutoRaid - 2-28-2007
N4000 hp9000 server 03/31//06 (with old GSP) ; 31/07/07 (with upgraded GSP)
Brocade Silkwork 2400 FC switches: 10/31/07
FC60 Disk Array: 04/24/08
L2000 hp9000 server - 01/01/08
L3000 hp9000 server - TBD
hp220 tape library - 11/01/07
