Purchase of HP server spare parts

Hi
Due to some excess budget I have to spend, I'm required to purchase some spare parts for HP servers.
But how do I determine the model or part number? For example, an ioscan -funCtape shows only "Quantum DLT8000" for a DLT drive. How do I determine the correct part number for my servers?

The best place for looking for part numbers is either your support contravt or partsurfer.

Re: Purchase of HP server spare parts

Hi,

The part numbers in your server you can view with stm (install OnlineDiag) select hardware and go to tools and select information run.

There is a site:

Re: Purchase of HP server spare parts

you must check the physical from your hardware. HP will label it at the hardware.

Usually you just said the product from your library and type of your drive ( DLT 8000 ), let HP team search the partnumber.

MSTM tell about the some partnumber for your hardware. You can try it.

Thanks
