support life cycle

Ok I've been scrounging around the HP website for an hour and can't find it - somewhere here there was a list of HP9000 servers along with the support life cycle information.

Basically, I've got a D390/2 and am considering replacing it with an RP5450/2 and I'm wondering how long HP will be supporting each.

Support costs for the D390 are rising sharply.

Re: support life cycle

Thanks Shiju.

The doc does mention the D390, but not the RP5450 ... if anyone knows the end of support for that guy, let me know. Parhaps it hasn't been announced yet.

Re: support life cycle

The rp5450 is no longer listed 'for sale' at HP's web site (hp.com). They list an rp5430 and an rp5470. So it has been dropped from active sales.

rp5450=L2000 There are serveral versions, with different-speed CPUs.

The oldest has 360 Mhz CPUs,
the newest has 550 Mhz CPUs.

I could not find specific service life info, but that long road has started.

Re: support life cycle

I'm also looking for support life cycle information for my L2000 and HP-UX 11.0. I wonder how much longer I have before I have to upgrade to 11i.

Does anyone have any answers?
Thanks!

Re: support life cycle

OK I found the answer to my 11.0 question. That is "Obsoleted" as of December 31, 2006......

Perhaps a moderator can answer the hardware issue?
