Turning off cache to match celerra

Our business customer is insisting that we turn off cache at the share level on all nodes of the polyserve cluster. This to match the configuration of the celerra cluster we are migrating from. Is this a normal way to resolve performance problems for a polyserve cluster?

No you want the polyserve nodes to cache I/Os. In face to increase perforamnce we suggest setting the systems for LargeSYstemCache.
