Hello All,
I have recently purchased some switches in the 2920 series and also the 2620 series but what I noticed was the fan light comes on after the initial testing is complete. I recall the light only comes on if the fan is not working but its hard to believe all the switches I purchased would have a defective fan. I just wanted to know if this was a new feature that HP released, where the fan light comes on when the fan is not in use or something along those lines. Please let me know, thank you.

SolutionThe fan light will be on and green when everything is ok. If it is flashing orange along with the fault light, then you have a problem.

Re: HP 2620 & 2920
Thanks a lot for the information. This wasn't the case for the Procurves that I use to have but regardless I should have read up on that manual. Cheers.
