HP J9855A Aruba 2530 48G switch with 2 port SFP+ module

Will this switch support 10G Passive DAC ? I want to connect this switch directly to my NAS 10G SFP+ port.

But some one suggested me to use 10G Active DAC cable only....but they are very expensive. 

How can I use my 10G Passive DAC with this switch,

AFAIK Aruba 2530's QuickSpecs document reports some HPE X242 SFP+ to SFP+ DACs (available in various lengths) that are Passive:

"Low-price 10-Gigabit connectivity options consisting of 1, 3, 7, 10 or 15 m cables with SFP+ connectors permanently attached to each end."

I can't comment about the "Low-price" statement but there is no reference about Active DACs on HPE X242 SFP+ SFP+ DACs' QuickSpecs.

OTOH you should check your NAS about DACs compatibility against HPE X242.
