HP Procurve 2920
Hello, I have to setup a data center to physical network configuration and I'm wondering about the possibility to use a stack of 2 HP2920 with a Trunk static configured using 2 port of a stack member and the other 2 of the other member
in order to provide hardware reliability in case of one meber failure.
Is this possible with the new HP2920 procurve stacking switches?
Thanks
dugo

Re: HP Procurve 2920
Definitely!
Each 2920 has a stacking module installed, and they are linked together with the dedicatedstacking cables. The 2 switches then appear as a single switch, and it is possible to set up multi ling aggregation (MLAG) to that pair of switches.
Example LACP connections spanning 2 switches:
trunk 1/A1,2/A1 trk1 lacp trunk 1/A2,2/A2 trk2 lacp
